Installation process of explosion-proof box for cable intermediate joint (video attached)

1. Preparations before installation (complete installation video included)

a: Check whether the shell is in good condition

b: Check whether the accessories are complete

c: Check the installation tool

2. Installation of explosion-proof box

a: Measure the distance between the ports of the explosion-proof box

b: According to the length of the explosion-proof box, determine the location of the cable port seal, and seal it.

c: Wrap some silicone rubber sealing strips (or armor tape/fireproof mud) at the end areas on both sides of the box according to the actual thickness of the cable, and then wrap several laps of waterproof tape around the sealing gasket to fix it. The inner diameter of the box end is 100mm.

d: Place the middle connector in the middle of the lower half of the connector box.

e: Install the upper half of the box and fasten the stainless steel screws on both sides of the box.

f: Wrap the waterproof tape around the ports on both sides of the box.

g: Wrap black PVC tape around the waterproof tape (if glue is required, fill the energy-draining hole with high-voltage cable sealant, and also do waterproof sealing at the glue-filling hole).

3. Mix and filling sealant

a: Mix the sealant groups A and B evenly according to the proportions required in the instructions.

b: Pour the mixture into the explosion-proof box through the injection port until it is full.

c: Cover the hole cover. Installation is complete.
